How can I help
Counselling and Psychotherapy Services
People come to therapy for many different reasons. You may be facing a clearly identifiable difficulty—a loss, relationship conflict, anxiety, low mood, a significant life change or you may only sense that something in your life no longer feels right.
I offer individual and couples counselling and psychotherapy, alongside specialist existential counselling for leaders and professionals. Sessions are available online in the UK and internationally, and in person in Riga, Latvia.
You don’t have to decide which service is right before contacting me. A free introductory conversation can help you to understand what you need and whether I may be the right person to support you.
WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER
Choose what fits your situation
Although these services have different areas of focus, human difficulties rarely fit neatly into one category. They all begin with careful attention to your particular circumstances, relationships, and reasons for seeking support.
Individual Counselling and Psychotherapy
You may be looking for support with a particular event or difficulty, or you may have reached a point where familiar ways of coping no longer seem to work.
People come to individual therapy with anxiety, low mood, grief, relationship or family difficulties, low self-worth, work pressure, or questions about meaning and direction. Sometimes there is no single problem to identify—only a sense of feeling stuck, unsettled or disconnected from the life you are living.
Individual therapy provides a private place to slow down and look more carefully at what is happening. Together, we can explore your circumstances, relationships and recurring patterns, and consider how you want to respond.
Couples Counselling
Couples often seek therapy when conversations have become repetitive, defensive or painful. You may be experiencing recurring conflict, emotional distance, loss of trust, a difficult transition, or uncertainty about the future of your relationship.
Couples counselling gives us space to slow down what is happening between you. We will pay attention not only to what you disagree about, but also to the pattern that has developed: how each partner responds, what may be difficult to express, and what each person may be trying to protect.
My role is not to decide who is right or to preserve the relationship at any cost. The work is intended to help both partners understand the relationship more clearly and consider what each is willing to do next.
Specialist professional focus
Existential Counselling for Leaders and Professionals
Professional life is rarely separate from the rest of life. Responsibility, difficult decisions, conflict and uncertainty can affect our relationships, identity and sense of purpose.
You may be carrying considerable responsibility while having few places where you can speak openly. Perhaps you are experiencing work-related anxiety or exhaustion, facing a difficult decision, dealing with professional conflict, or discovering that conventional measures of success no longer feel sufficient.
Before entering psychotherapy, I spent more than two decades in business, including founding and managing my own company. This is confidential one-to-one counselling rather than business consultancy, financial advice or performance management.

Workshops, Training and Experiential Learning
Alongside my clinical practice, I offer lectures, seminars and experiential workshops for professional groups and organisations.
Programmes can explore professional identity, workplace relationships, communication, responsibility, uncertainty, meaning and the human dimensions of organisational life.
The purpose, format and boundaries of each programme are developed in conversation with the organisation and adapted to its context and participants. This is an educational and developmental service rather than individual or group therapy.
